A tailored in-clinic medical-grade treatment for comedonal acne. This session combines VISIA skin analysis, comedone extraction with Dermalux phototherapy, and a skin-regenerating peel. Additional in-clinic visits with the same protocol are recommended to maintain the results. Comedones are skin-coloured small bumps which are formed due to accumulated sebum and dead skin cells. Open comedones are called blackheads and closed comedones are called whiteheads. It’s the most common type of acne for teenagers.

This procedure is performed only by Dr. Vergolia with a medical-grade comedone extractor which physically removes acne blockages from the skin. A gentle pressure is applied to the area, the trapped sebum is pushed out and released from the skin.
